Who Are GREF?

Founded in 1989, the Gambling Regulators European Forum presents itself as a platform for exchanging industry insights.

Initially created by delegates from Denmark, France, Great Britain, the Netherlands, Portugal, and Spain, the forum has expanded significantly. At present, there are 41 regulators from 34 European nations as part of this organization.

The stated objectives are simple:

In December 2023, they launched their fifth task force , with Rachel Bezzina from the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) and Christophe Vidal from the French National Gambling Authority (ANJ) taking the lead for the Anti-Money Laundering Working Group.
