This incident follows a significant data breach at MGM Resorts International, which faced a cyberattack that necessitated a 10-day shutdown of its computer systems to counter the threat. The situation has since been managed, and everything is back to normal operations.
In a statement, the company said:
“We are taking measures to remove the compromised data from the hands of the unauthorized hacker, though we cannot assure complete success.”
